If you’ve only had traditional TVs, it may be hard to imagine how you can hide a TV. A hidden TV can be as simple as a TV that displays artwork when it’s off or as crazy as a massive 120” screen dropping from the ceiling. Here are a few of our favorite hidden TVs that we’ve installed.
Samsung Frame TV With Custom Frame
This Novato home wanted to do something unique to tie their home together. While this customer also used a Frame TV, they opted for a custom frame. The custom frame gives this Frame TV a unique look that complements their space exactly as they see fit. The end result is simply nothing short of elegant!

Like all our Frame TV installations, this is fully customizable by you! If the space changes, so can your TV.

The Lifting Art Hidden TV
SoundVision has done dozens of TV installations in Belvedere, but installations like this stand out as especially unique. While modern Frame TVs are quite good at imitating art in all lighting situations, there is nothing like the real thing. Above this fireplace is a real, one-of-a-kind artwork. You can touch it and feel the grains of the canvas.

Of course, we wouldn’t only be talking about the nostalgia of authentic artwork in an article about Hidden TVs. Like many of our installs, it all changes at the press of a button. Instead of changing the artwork into a TV, the artwork quietly rises to reveal a TV.
Combine a setup like this with our invisible speakers, and there would be no signs that we installed a TV into this Belvedere home.

From Normal Space To Dedicated Theater
Have you ever wanted a dedicated home theater but didn’t have a dedicated space? You can instantly transform your room into a theater at the press of a button! While it won’t match the quality of a sound-treated room, it’s undoubtedly eons better than the alternative of a traditional flat screen.

This Sonoma County resident has a setup that turns this inconspicuous space into a massive dedicated theater! With one press, motorized blackout shades cover all the windows. The screen lowers from the ceiling to the most optimal height. The projector is discreetly hidden on the back shelf. Lastly, the 5.1 sound system and speakers are hidden in the ceiling to stay out of sight. The end experience has to be experienced firsthand to appreciate it.

The Rolling Art TV
While a TV can detract from a space, art can be complementary. Unlike the popular Frame TV, this is a real piece of art on the wall. You can touch it and feel the canvas. So where’s the TV? The artwork magically rolls away with a single press, revealing a TV.

Artwork Flexibility
You can choose any artwork you’d like. Pick from dozens of existing options or commission your favorite artist to create a unique piece for your home. Real artwork has a special charm that a screen cannot replicate.
TV Choice Flexibility
The Frame TV comes in limited options. With the Rolling Art TV, you can use any TV you’d like, allowing for greater flexibility in picture quality.
Hidden Behind Architecture
For those who want a TV in their home but their space doesn’t need artwork, hiding a TV behind architectural details is an excellent option. In this example, the customer wanted a TV in their kitchen, where the design didn’t allow for a picture to hide the TV. Instead, we concealed the TV behind an architectural feature. The TV is quickly revealed with a remote. It can be tilted in various directions for optimal viewing from anywhere in the room.

Bed Pop Up TV
If you prefer to unwind with TV in bed, the bed pop-up TV is a fantastic solution. When you want to watch TV, simply press a button, and a TV will emerge from under the bed. It will automatically raise into the perfect position for TV in bed. This allows you to relax and enjoy your favorite movies in bed without a permanent TV in your bedroom.

Frame TV in a Kitchen
One of the easiest ways to add a hidden TV in the kitchen is with the Frame TV. When the Samsung Frame TV is turned off, it displays artwork that you can change along with the photo mat whenever you like. You can even add your own photos! Pair it with a custom frame to complete the look and cohesively tie it into the rest of your space.

A Mirror TV
One of the most incognito TVs you can get is a mirror TV. Popular for bathrooms and bedrooms, the mirror TV can instantly start displaying a TV through the mirror thanks to the 2-way glass. The downside of this setup is that you can’t get rid of the reflective coating while watching TV. That means darker areas of your TV may be overshadowed by bright reflections, decreasing the picture quality. Mirror TVs are best for casual watching. Alternatively, mirror TVs are best watched at night, when there are minimal reflections.

Getting Your Own Hidden TV
These creative solutions ensure you can enjoy your TV without compromising your home’s design. Whether you prefer artwork, architectural integration, or sleek modern solutions, there’s certainly a hidden TV option that fits your needs perfectly.
